Bob worked a decade in radio before colliding with Marcia. Within days, they became creative partners, winning advertising copywriting awards. In 1983, they moved to Milwaukee, where Bob became a creative for ad agencies and brand director for a Fortune 500 company. In 2004, he left the corporate world and, with Marcia, launched Creative Spark, serving health care, financial, industrial, aerospace and lifestyle brands.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Who the hell are you?” were the first words Marcia said to Bob in 1982. Their chemistry has been cooking ever since. Marcia was a reporter for Michigan and Iowa newspapers before launching her Milwaukee marketing communications firm. When Bob left behind his wingtips, they rebranded it Creative Spark. Marcia retired in 2016. Although she now knows “who the hell” Bob is, she continues to challenge him on a daily basis.
